During the night, cloud cover will begin to break and decrease from the west, although it will remain significant over most of the country. Rainfall is expected, with heavier precipitation in some parts of eastern Bulgaria. Winds will weaken and be light to moderate from the west-northwest, while in eastern Bulgaria they will blow from the north-northwest.
On Friday, the decrease in cloudiness will continue eastward and will reach eastern Bulgaria by evening. The Black Sea coast will remain mostly cloudy, with rain still expected during the morning hours. By the afternoon, however, cloud cover will begin to break up and decrease. Rain will continue in some eastern areas during the morning, while isolated showers are expected in parts of central Bulgaria later in the day.
Maximum temperatures will range between 21°C and 24°C. Sea water temperatures are between 21°C and 22°C, while near Shabla they are between 18°C and 19°C. Moderate west-northwesterly winds will prevail, while eastern Bulgaria will experience north-northwesterly winds.
Sunny conditions will dominate in the mountains. During the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop and brief rainfall is expected in some mountain ranges of central Bulgaria. Moderate to strong northwesterly winds will blow. Maximum temperatures will reach around 16°C at 1,200 meters and about 8°C at 2,000 meters above sea level.
