Unusual Meat and Fermented Foods Diet Gains Ground in Trump Administration.
A diet based on beef, sauerkraut, kimchi and yogurt is gaining popularity among senior members of Donald Trump’s administration.
While President Donald Trump is known for his fondness for fast food, a very different and highly unusual dietary trend has taken hold in his administration. What began as a personal health experiment by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has turned into a real craze within the U.S. administration, the publication notes.
Senior cabinet members are now eating large amounts of fermented cabbage combined with red meat, Frankfurter Rundschau reported. The driving force behind this diet is physician and health consultant Dr Sean O’Mara, who recommends a strict eating regimen: plenty of grass-fed beef, supplemented with fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kimchi and yogurt, with sugar and alcohol strictly banned. According to a report in the British newspaper The Independent, politicians are paying a high price for it — a direct consultation with O’Mara costs an astonishing USD 18,000, while simple optimisation plans start at USD 8,000.
But for cabinet members, the investment appears to be worth it. Claims he lost about 20 pounds, or around nine kilograms, in just 30 days after going through the programme, and shed a significant amount of dangerous abdominal fat.
