Drugs and Hooliganism in Varna – Police Detain Several People.
During two separate police operations in Varna, drugs – amphetamine and methamphetamine – were found. Additionally, two men were detained for hooliganism, and a check in Aksakovo revealed a driver with fake license plates and a positive test for methamphetamine.
Drugs were discovered during two separate police operations carried out on different nights, the Varna Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior said.
In Varna's Sea Garden, officers from the Second Police Precinct found amphetamine in the possession of a 44-year-old man. In a separate case, officers from the Third Police Precinct found methamphetamine on a 21-year-old man in the Vladislav Varnenchik residential district.
Officers from the Second Police Precinct also responded to two separate reports of hooliganism.
In the first case, a man disturbed public order late in the evening in the Levski residential district by throwing glass bottles.
In the second incident, reported from the Sea Garden during the afternoon, police detained a 41-year-old man for indecent behavior that seriously disturbed public order and demonstrated blatant disrespect for society. According to police, he kicked public waste bins, threw objects and shouted provocatively.
Both men were detained for up to 24 hours, and fast-track criminal proceedings were initiated.
In another case, officers from the Aksakovo Police Department stopped a passenger vehicle driven by a 34-year-old man.
The inspection found that the vehicle's two registration plates had been issued for another motor vehicle. The driver also tested positive for methamphetamine during a roadside drug test.
