This is the legally established mechanism for the annual indexation of pensions, under which the increase is calculated based on 50% of the growth in the average contributory income and 50% of inflation for the previous year.
Survivor supplements paid to eligible pensioners are being increased by the same percentage. The social old-age pension is now set at 347.51, representing a 7.8% increase from the previous322.37.
A significant change also affects the minimum amount of the pension for length of service and age. This increase also affects the minimum amounts of other types of employment-related pensions, including pensions for incomplete contributory service, disability pensions and survivor pensions.
The indexation covers all people whose employment-related pension was granted by the end of 2025.
