Karin Dom Marks Its 30th Anniversary with the Smile, Karin Dom Festival on June 20–21.

The event supports Karin Dom’s Children’s Fund, which provides therapy for children with special needs. Under the motto Playing Together, the festival highlights play as the most natural way for children to learn, develop, and build strong connections with their parents.

Over the course of two days, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of children’s workshops, creative activities, family programs, meetings with specialists, and educational lectures. On Saturday, the celebration will open with the stage performance Let There Be Light, prepared by children attending Karin Dom, a program expected to touch not only their parents but all guests as well. More than 30 creative, educational, culinary, and musical workshops for children are included in the program, while parents will be able to attend sessions offering valuable knowledge and practical guidance on early childhood development. The stage will also host performances by talented children, as well as music, dance, and theatre groups.

A special highlight of the festival program is the lineup of speakers focusing on early childhood development. Psychologist and university lecturer Dr. Sevdzhihan Eyubova will present Playing Together: The Stories That Stay, a talk dedicated to the importance of play in the development of the brain, language, social skills, and emotional resilience in children. Child psychologist and psychotherapist Virginia Vasileva will discuss the challenges of the 0–3 age period, while child sleep consultant Elena Todorova will present current topics related to sleep in young children.
