Nigel Farage Quits UK Parliament to Trigger By-Election.

Nigel Farage is currently under parliamentary investigation over an undeclared donation worth £5 million from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne.

The politician has categorically rejected all allegations against him. Farage said he wants voters themselves to judge his actions, and that a possible vote would serve as a kind of vote of confidence. Such a procedure would cost the state around £230,000.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Times published information claiming that before becoming an MP, Farage received other undeclared benefits from his long-time ally George Cottrell.

These allegedly included security services, staff and social media support. Cottrell is a cryptocurrency entrepreneur who previously served a sentence in the United States in a fraud case.

Nigel Farage, leader of the British anti-immigration party Reform UK, could face a second investigation into compliance with parliamentary ethics rules after new claims were made that he failed to declare benefits and income.

If parliamentary investigations establish serious breaches of declaration rules, Farage could be temporarily suspended from the House of Commons.

Under a more severe sanction, British law provides for the possibility of a recall procedure for an MP, which could also lead to a by-election.
