Police Fine Emrah Storaro for Driving Porsche Through Pedestrian Zone in Sozopol.

Police launched an inquiry on their own initiative and issued a violation report to pop-folk singer Emrah Storaro after a video circulated on social media showing his luxury car driving through a pedestrian zone in Old Sozopol.

The performer’s actions sparked a wave of negative comments among both residents and visitors of the seaside resort, as well as on Facebook.

The pop-folk singer drove his luxury Porsche through the pedestrian zone in Old Sozopol and later attempted to justify himself after the latest controversy surrounding him.

According to him, he drove through the pedestrian area because he saw another car in front of him and thought the section was a normal road. Emrah added that there were other cars in the area, but only his was noticed.

And Emrah is on the front page because he drove through a pedestrian zone, he commented.

Officers from the Regional Police Department in Sozopol launched an inquiry on their own initiative, and the owner of the car was summoned to the department to clarify the circumstances.

Emrah will be issued a violation report under the Road Traffic Act. Later, he boasted that the fine imposed on him amounted to20.

It was established that the car crossed an alley diagonally. The alley was not marked with prohibitory road signs or markings and was not secured with protective facilities such as posts or a barrier.

An inquiry is currently under way, with camera footage and witness statements being collected. In a video posted on social media, Emrah himself admitted that he was behind the wheel of the luxury vehicle at the time of the violation.

He expressed dissatisfaction that he had been put on the front page because of his fame, his father and his brother, while, in his words, much more serious things are happening in the country.
