NIMH: Cloudy Weather with Rain, Gradual Improvement from West.

During the night before Saturday, cloud cover will remain significant over most parts of the country, with rainfall expected in many areas, more intense in Eastern Bulgaria. According to the forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), Saturday will begin with more clouds and rainfall in parts of Eastern Bulgaria, but from the morning hours cloud cover will gradually break up and decrease from the west. Temperatures will remain pleasant for mid-June, reaching between 22°C and 27°C.

During the night, cloudiness will begin to decrease from the west, although it will still remain significant over most of the country, NIMH reported. During the day, clouds will continue to decrease from west to east. In the morning hours, light rain will still occur in some eastern areas, while in the afternoon short-term rainfall is also possible in parts of Central Bulgaria. The reduction in cloud cover from the west will continue during the day and will reach Eastern Bulgaria by evening.

Winds will weaken, becoming light to moderate from the west-northwest, and in Eastern Bulgaria from the north-northwest. Atmospheric pressure will be slightly above the monthly average and will remain almost unchanged during the day.

Over the Black Sea coast, cloudiness will be significant, with morning rainfall still possible in some areas. Sea water temperatures are 21°C–22°C, and 18°C–19°C in the Shabla area. Sea waves will be 2–3 on the Beaufort scale, with a tendency to decrease.

Maximum temperatures will range between 22°C and 27°C, with around 22°C expected in Sofia.
