Ruzha Raycheva: There Is Political Cover in Baba Alino Case.

There can be no clarity over who is responsible for the case of illegal construction in the Baba Alino area near Varna, because it is becoming clear that two main political forces have been involved in governing Varna in recent years. Those political forces are GERB, followed by We Continue the Change.

The two parties in question are currently in a battle with each other, pointing fingers over who is more to blame, while on the other hand we have the Radev cabinet sitting there in bewilderment and acting as an investigative body into what happened, Raycheva said. The silence from the security services is puzzling, but on the other hand, I do not remember a time when the services said anything, unless it was conveniently leaked through certain channels and media, she added. According to her, in the Baba Alino case there is an obvious political cover, while responsibility is widely distributed — both at high and low levels.

We still know nothing about the Petrohan case, and we will not find out. There, too, we have a rather murky trail from the services that we will never fully understand, Ruzha Raycheva said in comparison.

The journalist expressed suspicion that most likely it was not one person, but many people who profited from Oleg Nevzorov’s presence in Bulgaria, because the Baba Alino case could not have happened without the assistance of a large circle of interested people who benefited from it. She also recalled that Nevzorov is being investigated for money laundering in Ukraine, in addition to being subject to mobilization.
