Slavi: Rumen Radev suffers from split personality disorder.

There Is Such a People (ITN) leader Slavi Trifonov sharply criticised Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev in a post published on his personal Facebook profile.

In his comment, Trifonov said the prime minister suffers from a split personality, clarifying that he was using the expression as a political metaphor. To illustrate his point, he divided the prime minister’s conduct into two symbolic roles –Rumen Radev BG, addressing the Bulgarian public, and Rumen Radev EU, addressing European partners.

According to Trifonov, the prime minister tells the Bulgarian public that he will veto the EU’s 21st package of sanctions against Russia, while, in Trifonov’s view, his actions on the international stage suggest a different position.

The ITN leader also commented on the agreement with the Turkish state-owned company Botas, questioning why payments under the contract were being frozen or postponed after it had previously been presented as beneficial for Bulgaria.

We do not understand why, after Rumen Radev BG insisted for so long that this agreement was extremely beneficial, the payments are now being frozen or postponed, Trifonov wrote.

He also commented on European financial support, saying that Bulgaria would contribute financially.

The Facebook post reflects Trifonov’s political opinion and personal position.
