Students from Judicial Administration classes start summer internship in Varna courts.

For another consecutive year, students from the Court Administration classes at the Konstantin Preslavski Secondary School for Humanities and Arts in Varna are being assigned, immediately after the end of the school year, to courts in Varna for mandatory practical internships.

A total of 18 students who completed 10th and 11th grade have already begun their summer internship at the Varna Regional Court. Over a period of two weeks, they will gain practical insight into the work of the administration, helping them build on their theoretical knowledge and better orient themselves when applying for a specific job position in the future.

An introductory meeting with the interns was held by the court administrator of the Varna Regional Court, Delyana Yankova, who familiarized them with the responsibilities, requirements and specifics of work in court administration. The students received workplace safety instructions and were assigned to positions under the mentorship of employees from the court’s different units. Further meetings and practical discussions on specific cases are scheduled during the internship.

The students from the specialized classes complete their internship with a written practical assignment, which they must defend before their teachers at the school in the autumn, during the first days of the new school year.

A total of 16 students from the 10th and 11th grades of the same school, studying Court Administration, have begun their two-week practical training at the Varna District Court. The young people, accompanied by their teacher Albena Kovacheva, were officially welcomed by court administrator Miroslava Slavcheva and public relations officer Diana Ivanova. In addition to organizing lectures with magistrates to help students gain broader legal knowledge, the court institution also supports the school in carrying out the mandatory practical internship included in their curriculum.
