Three dead and one injured in a serious accident between Krislovo and Dink.
Three men died and a 25-year-old remains in critical condition after a serious crash between the villages of Krislovo and Dink near Plovdiv. The SUV left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
A serious road accident occurred shortly before midnight on the road between the Plovdiv villages of Krislovo and Dink, according to Bulgarian National Radio. Police, emergency medical teams and firefighters who arrived at the scene encountered a severe situation.
The signal about the SUV that had crashed into a tree and overturned was received via emergency number 112 at 11:40 p. m. on Friday, the press office of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Plovdiv reported. Emergency medical teams and officers from the Trud Police Department were immediately dispatched to the scene, with additional assistance provided by firefighters.
Authorities established that four men were travelling in the vehicle. The fourth passenger, aged 25, was urgently transported to hospital and remains in critical condition.
The driver and one of the passengers died at the scene inside the vehicle. The body of the third victim was found on the roadway near the wrecked SUV. The other two victims were aged 27 and 28, while the injured passenger is 25 years old.
The investigation established that the vehicle was driven by its 29-year-old owner, who obtained his driver's licence in Germany one month ago. The causes and circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
