Trump: Strikes on Iran Will Continue Until I Say 'Enough'.

In an interview broadcast on the program Special Report, President Donald Trump said Iran's military capabilities had been weakened but that the country still retained the ability to resist.

Trump said U.S. military strikes would continue throughout the day and added that he expected American forces to carry out additional attacks, possibly extending into next week.

Earlier, the U.S. military announced that it had resumed strikes against Iran and reinstated its naval blockade. Central Command (CENTCOM) later confirmed in a social media post that the latest military operations had begun earlier in the day.

Kuwait also announced that one of its naval vessels had been struck during an Iranian attack, leaving four service members injured, according, citing a statement from the Kuwaiti armed forces.

Trump also said U.S. representatives held talks with Iranian officials the previous night and urged the Islamic Republic to reach an agreement.

U.S. military officials added that more than 20 naval vessels and hundreds of military aircraft have been deployed across the Middle East.

The United States also announced a new round of sanctions against Iran.
