Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warm, with highs between 28 and 33 degrees. In the afternoon, temporary cloudiness and local showers are expected in eastern areas and the mountains.
Tuesday will bring mostly sunny weather across Bulgaria, accompanied by a noticeable rise in temperatures. Daytime highs will range between 28°C and 33°C, reaching around 29°C in Sofia. Along the Black Sea coast and in the mountains, temporary afternoon cloud cover and isolated showers are possible.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), sunny conditions will dominate throughout the day. During the afternoon, cloud cover will increase mainly over eastern Bulgaria and the mountainous regions, where isolated light showers may develop.
Winds will be light to moderate from the north-northwest. Along the Black Sea coast, a moderate north-northwesterly wind is expected to weaken toward the evening.
Atmospheric pressure will remain above the monthly average with little change expected.
Mountain areas will also enjoy mostly sunny weather, although temporary cloud development and isolated afternoon showers are possible.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach around 22°C at 1,200 metres and about 14°C at 2,000 metres above sea level.
Forecasters warn that atmospheric instability will increase during the second half of the week, bringing thunderstorms to many parts of the country.
