Varna Attracts International Influencers to Promote the City.
The municipality's new approach to promotion through international marketing partnerships is yielding initial results. Visiting bloggers and influencers created authentic digital content with high engagement.
This year, the Tourism Directorate began working with foreign content creators who are presenting Varna to new international audiences in a modern and impactful way.
At the invitation of the municipality, well-known bloggers, influencers and digital creators visited the sea capital. Contacts with them had been established during international tourism exhibitions in Paris, London and Istanbul in 2025.
Among them are French photographer and videographer Maxime Tuchapsky, Carma Adventure representatives from London Maxwell Moshlin and Carolina Queiroz, British blogger and Career Gappers founder Alex Trembath, and Turkish influencer Ahmet Okatan.
The project was carried out as a marketing partnership, in which the municipality gives guests the opportunity to explore and film the city, while in return receiving high-quality content with long-term communication value.
This is the first in a series of initiatives with international content creators aimed at reaching new audiences through authentic stories and modern digital formats.
The content published by all participants has recorded high engagement, a significant number of views, reactions and shares. This shows strong interest in the experiences presented and real potential for sustainably positioning Varna in key target markets.
All participants have expressed readiness for future cooperation with the municipality in promoting the city internationally.
The initiative is part of efforts to establish Varna as a recognisable and preferred tourist destination through the modern tools of digital marketing.
With the assistance of partners from the tourism sector, special programmes were developed to present the opportunities for tourism in Varna during all four seasons.
