Varna Filmmakers Present Rhodopes at International Film Festival.

The festival presents 16 films from 14 countries dedicated to nature, mountain sports, and adventure expeditions.

The film is part of the program of the international Uzana Rainbow Hill Outdoor Film Festival, which will take place from July 13 to July 19. During the first four days, screenings will be held at the Christo and Jean-Claude Center in Gabrovo, while the festival will conclude with two special open-air screenings at Uzana Rainbow Hill.

The film reveals ancient legends and traditions connected with the Thracian sanctuary Orlovi Skali, the meander known as the Bend near the village of Doyrantsi, the medieval fortress in the Asara area near the village of Bashevo, the Thracian fortress Kaleto, the Ice Cave near the village of Lyubino, Mount Alada in the land of Temenuga village, the Old Gunpowder House, the Late Antique and Medieval fortress in the Doyrantsi area — the presumed Patmos, the Devil’s Bridge, and many other impressive natural and historical landmarks.

The production was created in partnership with Ardino Municipality under the project Discovering the Treasures of Ardino – Landmarks, Nature, Flavors, funded through the Rural Development Programme 2014–2020.
